Body N Spirit Athletic Club - For Your, For Family, For Life

We Are Fitness Professionals, We Change Lives

My name is Tracey Fletes and in 1986 the Body-N-Spirit concept was born out of a love for fitness and a love to inspire people to live healthier lives. I began my exciting journey through the world of fitness as an aerobic instructor with Kelly Lynn Figure Salon. Under the guise of exercise physiologist, Fred Fuselier, I acquired the necessary skills enabling me to become a knowledgeable aerobic instructor. This only sparked my hunger to learn every dimension of the fitness industry. Within two years of intense aerobic training, I was the recipient of the Kelly Lynn Figure Salon's "Aerobic Instructor of the Year" and its "Manager of the Year" award.

Remaining with Kelly Lynn Figure Salon until its closure, I continued working with notable fitness clubs throughout the city of New Orleans. In addition, I became a certified aerobic instructor and personal trainer with the American Fitness Association of America (AFAA), the American College of Exercise (ACE) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). My on-going education in fitness continues with certifications in Kick-Boxing, Nutrition Consultation, Spinning, Prenatal/Postnatal Development and Krav Maga (self-defense) instruction. As a member and certification specialist with AFAA, I conduct lectures and workshops as well as providing instruction for continuing credits in education fitness.

The knowledge and experience acquired throughout my fitness career has elevated my heart's desire to see people from all walks of life achieve their own lifestyle of fitness. Body-N-Spirit is not only a concept but a living testament for helping others attain true health and wellness. Desiring to educate and equip people with the knowledge that health and fitness is attainable at all levels has been the driving force in creating an atmosphere where all are welcomed and inspired to accomplish their individual goals.

Along with my husband, Alex, and the support of our two beautiful children, Body-N-Spirit Athletic Club was created. It is our mission, our goal, and our vision to provide an athletic club that serves its members safe and effective fitness instruction through a passionate team of personable, knowledgeable and approachable fitness professionals. Our ultimate goal is to inspire and motivate our members through the incorporation of fitness by changing lives one member at a time.

"I AM A FITNESS PROFESSIONAL, I CHANGE LIVES."
